1. Who can enter Fetish Awards Europe?

Applications are open to people aged 18+ and businesses operated by adults aged 18+ who are actively involved in the fetish industry.

This includes performers, models, dominants, submissives, photographers, creators, events, venues, fashion brands, makers, adult businesses, websites, apps, media companies and other professionals working within the industry.

Please choose the category that most accurately reflects what you do.

2. Is Fetish Awards Europe only for people based in Europe?

No.

Although the ceremony takes place in Berlin and the awards have a European focus, applicants from around the world are welcome.

The international fetish industry is closely connected, and professionals and businesses outside Europe may apply where they meet the requirements of the relevant category.

3. Can I nominate myself?

Yes.

Self-nomination is welcome.

You do not need to wait for somebody else to nominate you. Established professionals, independent creators, new businesses and emerging talent can all put themselves forward.

4. Can somebody else nominate me?

Yes, where third-party nominations are available.

We may contact the person nominated to confirm their participation or obtain any necessary information, photographs or permissions before publishing their profile.

5. Can I enter more than one category?

Yes, where you genuinely qualify for more than one category.

Each application should relate to the relevant category and may require separate information or photographs.

Please only apply to categories that genuinely reflect your work.

6. How are the winners decided?

Every competitive Fetish Awards Europe award is determined entirely by public vote.

There is no judging panel deciding who wins.

The nominee receiving the highest number of valid public votes in their category at the close of voting will win, subject to verification of the final results.

The public therefore ultimately determines the winners.

7. How often can supporters vote?

Supporters can currently vote once every 24 hours, subject to the rules and technical controls operating during the relevant voting period.

Nominees are encouraged to share their unique voting link through their social media, websites and directly with supporters.

8. What happens if someone tries to manipulate the voting?

We actively protect the integrity of the public vote.

Automated voting, bots, fraudulent accounts, deliberately created duplicate identities, disposable email services used to circumvent restrictions, purchased fraudulent votes and other deliberate attempts to manipulate the system are prohibited.

Suspicious voting activity may be reviewed and invalid votes may be removed.

Removing fraudulent votes does not change the public-voting system. It helps ensure that only valid votes determine the result.

9. Can a nominee be disqualified because somebody else cheated for them?

Not automatically.

We will consider the circumstances and available evidence.

A nominee would not normally be held responsible simply because somebody else attempted to manipulate voting without their knowledge.

Deliberate involvement in, organisation of or encouragement of voting manipulation may result in votes being removed and further action under our Terms & Conditions.

10. What happens if two nominees receive exactly the same number of votes?

If two or more nominees finish with exactly the same number of valid votes, an additional public vote may be held between the tied nominees.

Fetish Awards Europe will not internally choose the winner.

11. Do I need a large following to enter?

No.

Having a large following can help when encouraging people to vote, but Fetish Awards Europe is not restricted to established names.

The awards are intended to provide opportunities for emerging talent and new businesses as well as established industry professionals.

12. Is it free to enter?

Yes.

There is no application fee to become a Fetish Awards Europe nominee.

13. What do I get from taking part?

Participating can create opportunities for greater industry recognition, exposure, networking and profile growth.

Approved nominees may be featured through Fetish Awards Europe channels and promotional campaigns.

Selected nominees may also be considered for interviews, photography, filming, podcasts, media coverage and other promotional opportunities.

We cannot guarantee the same level of promotion or commercial benefit to every participant.

14. Do nominees need to buy a ticket?

No.

Approved nominees currently receive complimentary entry to the Fetish Awards Europe ceremony.

Nominees will still need to follow any registration, identification or attendance instructions provided before the event.

Complimentary nominee admission does not automatically include travel, accommodation, guests or other expenses unless expressly stated.

15. Why do you ask me to upload a photograph?

Your photograph may be used to create your nominee profile and promotional material connected with your participation.

This can include your voting page, voting card, social-media graphics, finalist announcements, event artwork and other Fetish Awards Europe promotion.

Please upload the best-quality photograph available.

Only provide images that you have the necessary right or permission to submit.

16. Will you edit the photograph I submit?

We may make reasonable technical and creative adjustments so that nominee artwork can be presented professionally and consistently.

This can include cropping, resizing, sharpening, upscaling, colour or lighting correction, retouching, background removal or replacement, branded graphics, typography and preparation of different layouts.

17. Do you use AI when creating nominee graphics?

Fetish Awards Europe may use conventional design software, automated technology and AI-assisted creative tools as part of our production process.

AI-assisted tools may be used for image enhancement, sharpening, upscaling, lighting correction, isolating a subject, removing or replacing backgrounds or preparing branded artwork.

The purpose is to create professional promotional material, not to deliberately change somebody's identity or misrepresent them.

18. What if I do not want my photograph edited using AI?

Please tell us as early as possible.

Where reasonably practicable, we can consider using your original supplied photograph or conventional editing instead.

It is better to make us aware of any particular image requirements before promotional artwork has already been produced and distributed.

19. Can I ask for my voting photograph to be changed?

Yes.

If there is a genuine issue with your nominee photograph or you have a better-quality replacement, contact us.

We will consider reasonable replacement requests.

Please provide the highest-quality original photograph available.

20. Do Fetish Awards Europe own my photograph when I upload it?

No.

You retain any rights that you already own in your photograph.

By submitting it, you grant Fetish Awards Europe permission to use and reasonably adapt it for your nomination, public voting, promotion and other awards-related purposes as explained in our Terms & Conditions.

21. What type of photograph should I submit?

Please provide a clear portrait-style photograph that appropriately represents you or your brand.

No nude photographs or screenshots should be submitted through the application form.

Where possible, upload a good-quality original image rather than a screenshot, compressed social-media download or very low-resolution photograph.

The existing application form already states that nude photos and screenshots are not accepted.

22. Is my email address or phone number displayed publicly?

No.

Contact details requested for administration are not intended to appear on your public nominee profile.

Your public profile may include your stage or professional name, photograph, category, biography and public social-media information.

23. Can I withdraw from the awards?

If you no longer wish to participate, contact us.

We will consider your request and remove active nomination material where appropriate.

Material that has already been published, printed, distributed, archived or independently reposted may not always be capable of being completely retrieved.

24. Can Fetish Awards Europe remove a nominee?

Yes, in appropriate circumstances.

A nomination may be refused, suspended or removed for serious eligibility issues, deliberately false information, infringement of somebody else's rights, serious misconduct connected with the awards, deliberate voting manipulation or material breach of the Terms & Conditions.

A nominee will not be removed simply because they make a complaint, express an opinion or disagree with Fetish Awards Europe in good faith.

25. When does voting open?

Voting for Fetish Awards Europe 2027 is currently planned to open in October 2027.

Approved nominees will receive their individual voting links and voting information when voting becomes available.

The existing application page already says voting opens in October; adding 2027 removes the ambiguity.

26. When will the winners be announced?

Winners will be announced during the Fetish Awards Europe 2027 ceremony in Berlin in November 2027.

Final results are subject to verification of valid voting before they are officially confirmed.

28. Is there a dress code?

Yes.

Fetish Awards Europe is a special fetish-industry event and guests should dress appropriately for the occasion and in accordance with any published event or venue requirements.

We encourage fetish fashion, latex, leather, alternative fashion, glamorous eveningwear and creative looks suitable for the event.

Final dress requirements will be communicated before the ceremony.

29. Will there be photography and filming?

Yes.

Fetish Awards Europe will be professionally photographed and filmed.

This may include the red carpet, interviews, performances, award presentations, stage activity and general event coverage.

Material may appear across our websites, social media, press coverage, promotional campaigns and future Fetish Awards Europe content.

Anyone with a particular privacy or personal-safety concern should contact the team as early as possible.

30. Can I attend without publicly identifying myself as part of the fetish community?

Yes.

You do not need to be a nominee to attend, and guests may choose how they present themselves subject to event and venue requirements.

Some attendees may choose masks, hoods, fetish fashion or other looks.

Because the event will be photographed and filmed, anybody with a particular privacy concern should contact us before attending or speak with the event team.

31. Will every nominee receive exactly the same promotion?

No.

We aim to provide nominees with opportunities for exposure, but cannot guarantee that everyone receives exactly the same amount of social-media coverage, reach, press attention or promotional activity.

Different opportunities may arise depending upon content, timing, category, media interest and the wider promotional schedule.

32. Are there photographers, press and media at the awards?

Yes.

Fetish Awards Europe welcomes approved photographers, press, filmmakers, podcasts, media organisations and other selected industry coverage.

Nominees may also be approached for photographs, interviews and promotional content.

Participation in additional individually focused media activity is generally optional unless separately agreed.

33. What if I have a complaint or concern?

Contact us and explain the issue clearly.

We will consider reasonable concerns and may request additional information where required.

Where something can reasonably be corrected or resolved, we will consider the appropriate action.

Once an issue has reasonably been addressed, we may close correspondence where repeated messages raise no materially new matter.
